Competition level which is designed for returning athletes who want to compete on a year round basis. We will also focus on developing each athlete’s technical and tactical skills and pushing them to reach the next competition level. Athletes will have four workouts per week – two hours per workout. The expectation is that each athlete participate in at least one tournament per session to remain in good standing and hold roster spot.

USA Water Polo Required: Bronze Level Only
Our academy program is designed for new and young athletes learning the game of water polo. We will focus on developing each athlete’s technical skills in water polo and teaching the playing rules through scrimmages during practices. At the end of the session, we will schedule scrimmages with local teams to provide exposure to the athletes to competition. Athletes will have two workouts per week – two hours per workout. First half hour will consist of dynamic stretching and dryland.

We will focus on the tactical aspect of the game and the rulebook. Tactical aspects of the game will include half court setup, transition, 6 on 5 and 5 on 6. There will provide as much white board instruction as possible. We will put athletes in various situations of the game so help improve their in game decision making and knowledge.
Of course as we work on these aspects of the game, we will also help improve fundamental skills such as treading, passing, shooting and body positioning.
